Saturday, December 5 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Code Red Community Health & Wellness Event
Giddens Park | 6901 N. 12th Street, Tampa
We're closing out the weekend with a FREE, family-friendly community celebration featuring health screenings, wellness resources, HIV prevention education, food, games, prizes, a bounce house, and activities for the entire family!
Eligible participants who complete an HIV test will receive a $30 gift card incentive.
This is about more than checking in on your health. It's about connecting with neighbors, accessing resources, enjoying time with family, and making memories together!
A Community Coming Together
None of this would be possible without the generosity, collaboration, and commitment of our partners.
We are especially grateful to Gilead Sciences, AdventHealth, METRO Healthy Communities, and EVOLVE Tampa Bay, whose support is helping power this year's Code Red Weekend.
The Hillsborough County Planning Committee itself represents a collaborative effort among community members, advocates, and professionals from organizations including the Florida Department of Health, Metro healthy Communities, EPIC/EMPATH, Casa VM Ybor, 7th & Grove, Harmony Healthcare, IBIS Healthcare, Tampa Care Clinic, CAN Community Health, Positively U, and many others who share a commitment to improving health outcomes throughout our community.
Together, we are demonstrating what becomes possible when organizations move beyond working independently and unite around a common purpose.
And Tampa Bay, this is only the beginning!
Our vision extends well beyond one weekend. We want to continue creating spaces where people feel informed, supported, empowered, and comfortable having conversations about their health without fear of judgment or stigma.
Whether you are living with HIV, know someone who is, work in healthcare, advocate for your community, or simply want to be part of something meaningful, there is a place for you in this movement.
We encourage our community partners to share these events with their teams, clients, families, and networks. Come out, bring someone with you, volunteer, connect, and help us make this year's observance one to remember!
Thank you to every organization, advocate, sponsor, volunteer, and community member who continues to stand with us.
The fight against HIV/AIDS is a collective one, and so is the progress we celebrate.
