SALARY: $50,000.00-$54,000.00

SUMMARY
Compassionate Payroll Manager willing to create a meaningful experience and offer support and guidance to the entire FTB team in the areas of Payroll, Risk Management and Administration. The Payroll Manager will oversee the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. The Payroll Manager will provide a high level of confidentiality at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll
Implement, maintain and process payroll system to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, paid time off and holidays, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Issues, or reissues, physical or replacements checks due to payroll errors.
Prepares and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. Ensure reporting of Form 941.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
Ensure submission of bi-weekly retirement contributions and 5500 annual filings.
Provide training and assistance to team members in both the timeclock and Payroll portal.
Ensure communications related to payroll information, deadlines and changes to all team members.
Risk Management & Administration
Maintain and process all information related to our P&C insurance coverage to include accident claims, Certificates of Insurance, Assets, MVR’s and tracking databases.
Ensure timely submission of all accident claims and provide training as necessary.
Maintain COVID19 database in coordination with Chief Administrative Officer
Ensure salary budget file is current and up to date at all times
Maintain organizational charts and prepare charts as requested.
Maintain all signed contract and lease agreements.
Participate in special projects, trainings, and team meetings or events, as requested
In the absence of the Coordinator of Guest Experience assist by greeting visitors, determines the nature of business. Answer and directs incoming calls to appropriate personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related files.
Three to Five years of Payroll experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Paylocity experience preferred
Fluent in Spanish preferred
Commitment to understanding and supporting FATB’s mission and grow code
May be required to work some weekends and/or adjust work schedule to meet deadlines
COMPETENCIES
Proficient with payroll software
Extensive knowledge of payroll function including preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
Proficient with spreadsheet applications
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
