This position performs a variety of activities involved in the comparison of measurement devices of unknown accuracy to a measurement device of known accuracy in order to detect, correlate, and report any variations in the accuracy of the device being compared.  Perform calibration of Machinist hand tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Pin Gages, Thread Plugs, Thread Rings, and Height Gages), Ovens (AMS-2750, ASTM E-29), Measuring Equipment, and other manufacturing equipment to ISO-9000, ANSI Z540-1, and QS-9000 requirements. Familiar with or knowledgeable of ISO 17025 requirements. Conduct plant wide audits for calibration compliance.
