The Associate Financial Representative plays an integral role on a Financial Advisor’s team.  The AFR acts on behalf of the employing financial advisor to facilitate communication and appointments with clients, develop and prepare financial plans and other paperwork related to the delivery of financial services, and communicates with clients on advisory-related service and products. 


  • Administrative task assistance, including making and confirming appointments, record-keeping, pre-filling insurance applications, and other arrangements as needed
  • Create and maintain compliant electronic client folders
  • Oversee underwriting process and follow up with clients for additional information including pay stubs, medical history, and medical records
  • Manage key client touchpoints such as birthdays, anniversaries, policy change dates, and policy reviews
  • Create referral lists and maintain client referral log
  • Manage social media accounts and website
  • Deliver excellent client services by preparing timely and precise communications such as emails, reports and other correspondence

  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of professionalism and discretion required


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience in an office environment


  • Florida Life & Health License, or the ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Financial services and/or insurance industry experience
  • Customer service experience
