After working out of a small studio space in the Warehouse Arts District of St. Petersburg for several years, and getting to know other talented St. Petersburg artists who were struggling to find outlets to show their work, in November of 2015 Jim was able to open Woodfield Fine Art Gallery in St. Petersburg's Grand Central District. He maintains a small studio in the back of the gallery where he continues to produce portraits and other works of art, but most important is that he created an outlet for local artists to exhibit their work. The gallery bears the motto, “Pursuing a passion, realizing a dream.”

Woodfield Fine Art Gallery has held true to its original intent to showcase only the original art of Tampa Bay area artists, where art enthusiasts can view and buy art that is not mass produced or tagged as collectible just because it has a number. The Gallery exhibits the works of more than 30 artists where emerging as well as nationally renowned award-winning artists share space.
