IKEA TAMPA CELEBRATES PRIDE WITH A COMMUNITY EVENT Tampa, FL (May 21, 2025) – IKEA Tampa is kicking off Pride month on June 1, 2025 from 1:00-5:00pm with a free event in Tampa Bay. Celebrate Pride at IKEA Tampa begins with a raising of the Pride flag outside the store entrance at 1:15pm followed by a unique parade through our second-floor showroom at 2:00pm. Co-workers will feature floats built on IKEA flat carts for festive fun. At 3:00pm a color theory workshop will inspire the use of color in décor exploring what moods colors evoke and how to utilize complimentary colors. Take on the selfie challenge by snapping pictures with items in the store for each color of the rainbow to receive a prize. From 1:00-5:00pm, guests can also enjoy a photobooth, face painting, DJ, and games. IKEA Family loyalty program members can enter hourly raffles for home furnishings and let their light shine with a lamp DIY. It’s free to join IKEA Family and benefits include accruing points to earn rewards for attending events and making purchases. Prizes will be awarded by age category at a ceremony during the Pride event on June 1. Visitors can return to IKEA Tampa for Pride Bingo on Thursday, June 19 from 6:00pm-8:00pm for adults 18+.
